The Welsh Conservatives have said an Estyn report – which stated only half of secondary schools in Wales were judged as good or excellent – has shown the Welsh Government to be unsuccessful in improving education in Wales.

Welsh Government have decided that, from 1st April 2019, health services for residents living in Bridgend County Borough Council’s area will be provided by Cwm Taf University Health Board instead of ABMU.
Mae Llywodraeth Cymru wedi penderfynu, o 1 Ebrill 2019, y bydd gwasanaethau iechyd i drigolion sy'n byw yn ardal Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Pen-y-bont ar Ogwr yn cael eu darparu gan Fwrdd Iechyd Prifysgol Cwm Taf yn hytrach na ABMU.

Shadow Welsh Language Secretary Suzy Davies AM has said the appointment of former Assembly Member Aled Roberts as the Commissioner is a “sensible move” but has warned he has fight on his hand to protect the role’s independence.
