Shadow Education Minister calls for “clarity” from Welsh Government on curriculum change | Gweinidog Addysg Cysgodol yn galw am "eglurder" gan Lywodraeth Cymru ar newid cwricwlwm

Commenting on Welsh Government’s curriculum change statement, Shadow Education Minister Suzy Davies AM, said: “The Welsh Government’s proposed changes to the curriculum in Wales are huge.  They may have political support but we are now approaching the stage where we need clarity on practicality, accountability, teacher training and most of all, a higher quality education for our young people. 
Wrth sôn am ddatganiad newid cwricwlwm Llywodraeth Cymru, dywedodd y Gweinidog Addysg Cysgodol, Suzy Davies AC: "Mae newidiadau arfaethedig Llywodraeth Cymru i'r cwricwlwm yng Nghymru yn enfawr. Efallai bod ganddynt gefnogaeth wleidyddol ond rydyn ni nawr yn mynd at y cam lle mae angen eglurder ar ymarferoldeb, atebolrwydd, hyfforddiant athrawon, ac yn fwy na dim, addysg o ansawdd uwch i'n pobl ifanc.

Commenting on news that the subject of second-language Welsh is being abolished in schools in Wales, Shadow Education and Welsh Language Minister Suzy Davies said: “Successive Ministers have grappled with how to make the idea of Dr Sioned Davies’ “Welsh language continuum” a reality so I am pleased to see some desire for progress today.
